Engineering Design & Prototyping

Biomedical Engineering Design, , 2026

Experience applying engineering design principles to the development, adaptation, and evaluation of biomedical technologies and experimental systems.

My engineering background includes computer-aided design (CAD), prototype development, benchtop testing, experimental instrumentation, and development of test protocols. Early industry experience included designing and evaluating orthopedic implants and surgical instruments, including the use of CAD to develop prototype concepts.

In research environments, I have applied the same design-oriented approach to experimental hardware, physiological measurement systems, medical technologies, and custom research workflows. This includes identifying technical requirements, integrating hardware and measurement systems, developing testing approaches, and iterating based on experimental results.

My approach emphasizes practical engineering solutions that connect technical design decisions to the biomedical problem and the environment in which the resulting technology will be used.
